Problems uploading sketches - Mac OSX 10.8.1

The "Eleven" is our Uno-equivalent Arduino-compatible board, but with a number of improvements including prototyping area, a mini-USB connector, LEDs mounted near the edge, and the D13 LED isolated using a FET. [Product page]

Problems uploading sketches - Mac OSX 10.8.1

Post by mmenegon » Fri Sep 28, 2012 11:23 am

Hi there,

New to this stuff...I can't seem to upload sketches to the board. My choices in the 'Serial port' menu are:

1. /dev/tty.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
2. /dev/cu.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
3. /dev/tty.Bluetooth-Modem
4. /dev/tty.Bluetooth-Modem

When I select the first option, I get an error: "Problem uploading to the board"
When I select the third option, I get the error: "Serial port already in use"

Have looked around a bit online but can't seem to find anything that works. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers

The ports you have listed don't include the Arduino. When I plug my EtherTen in I see those four plus also see

/dev/tty.usbmodem5d21
/dev/cu.usbmodem5d21

I select the tty option and have had no problems.
