I love the LCD & Keypad Shield, but it doesn't play nicely with the USBDroid and has a conflict with the microSD card on the EtherTen. It would be nice if Freetronics made an I2C version of the shield that only used say pins A0 (for the buttons), A4 and A5 (for I2C). Then there would be no conflict with either the USBDroid or the EtherTen and it would only use three analog pins.
[edit] I forgot about a pin for the backlight

Do you have an idea for a device that you think Freetronics should create? Discuss your ideas here! Sometimes we may even give you a sneak peek at secret projects we have in the pipeline, or ask for feedback on designs before they go into production.
