Binary Epoch Clock Kit

Post by adammhaile » Wed Aug 28, 2013 4:54 am

Some friends and I recently completed an Arduino compatible clock kit that displays the time as a 32-bit binary representation of Unix Epoch time. So, definitely meant for the time/unix geeks out there. We\'ve had a great deal of fun designing a building it and even have some firmware in the works that will allow it to be used as a large POV display. It\'s easy to build, has a built in RTC for accurate time (we would love to meet whoever can actually read it at a glance though!), and has both FTDI and ICSP headers for easy upload of new/modified firmware.
