New Nima 17 motor

Hi,
I have one of your H-Bridges, connected to a Uno board.

At the moment the Uno is powered by a 9v battery, and the H-Bridge is powered by a 12v wall adapter, without the jumper in place.

The Motor is Nima 17, 4 wire, rated at 12v, and it works well.

However the original motor is under-powered for what it has to to, so I have sourced another motor, which is rated at only 3.6v (per coil).

When I try to run the new motor, it stammers and jerks and has no power.

I have tried moving the current limiter, not much change.

I tried powering the H-Bridge with 3.5v, and also 6v, the motor did not go at all.

Will this H-bridge run my new motor, or will I have to search for another Nima 17, 12v rated, with lots of grunt?

Our HBRIDGE motor shield supports motor voltages between 8 and 40V DC, 3.6 is too low. Your 12V option would be required.
