Controlling the Eleven with Scratch (S4A)

The "Eleven" is our Uno-equivalent Arduino-compatible board, but with a number of improvements including prototyping area, a mini-USB connector, LEDs mounted near the edge, and the D13 LED isolated using a FET. [Product page]

Controlling the Eleven with Scratch (S4A)

Post by Nerdsville » Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:35 am

Hi,

Has anybody tried the Scratch 4 Arduino (S4A) software with the Eleven? Details here...

http://seaside.citilab.eu/scratch/arduino

I'd love to get this to work, but it doesn't seem to be talking to my board. The download page recommends updating the board's firmware and I didn't do this step, because I wasn't sure if it was Eleven compatible. Should I try the firmware update? Will it change the way my Eleven behaves?

Cheers,
Martin

Hi,

I've solved the problem! I didn't realise that the 'Firmware' is just a sketch. Upload it and S4a works a treat. Good fun!

I'd love to hear from any other users.

Cheers,
Martin

To be honest I've never looked at Scratch before, but now will do so.
Anyone else?
