DFU?

Post by mibus » Sun Feb 05, 2012 2:12 am

Hi,

Is it possible to enter DFU mode with the LeoStick's 32u4, to load (say) a keyboard or mouse driver?

(Similar to how you can for the Uno/Pebble-v2)

Thanks!
Robert.

So, DFU mode isn't needed to do what I wanted. See http://cal-eng.com/?page_id=579 for examples.

It has some limitations (eg. can't do modifiers like Ctrl/Alt) but even that looks like it's possible, just not directly exposed in the API. See:
  • hardware/arduino/cores/arduino/HID.cpp
    hardware/arduino/cores/arduino/USBAPI.h

Through the new ideas you can download the things related to the mouse and keyboards. I would like to refer towards superiorpapers review that are famous among many users.
