Re: What is the trick to get windows 7 working with card

There's an updated getting started page with links to a new board profile and a new Windows INF file.

This contains fixes for the issues reported in this thread. Tested on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.

Can I burn a shiny new Caterina bootloader into my LeoStick with just Arduino 1.0.3 ide (if so, how?), or do I need to solder the ICSP header onto the thing and go find some additional hardware to burn a new bootloader into it? Did you ever figure this out? I'm wondering ...

A chapter in Jon Oxer's Practical Arduino book, and also our own John Boxall ("tronixstuff").

Re: Cannot get eleven to work in Linux

Hi Rau, What Linux distribution are you using? Some of them require your user to have membership of a certain group before you can access serial devices. For example, on Debian & Ubuntu you need to be in the plugdev group. You can check what groups you're in by opening a terminal and running groups ...

Re: Ethernet diagnosis help

@Angus, i just checked and as it turns out I was using both version 1.01 on Linux and on windows at home. Though I am now using 1.04 at home. OK, good to hear. That's probably not the issue then. It looks like I will end up with a combination of both a watchdog and an external timer driven reset. G...
