Oooh, man. I feel for you! (belatedly) That is one bad thing to have. Been something I lived with since my teens, recurring monthly sometimes. Then they put me on anti-allergy medication, and I now get through six months at a time without a hint of sinusitis. If it comes back again, well worth check...
Sounds like the power supply is not up to it - try checking the current taken with your multimeter, or read the spec if you have access to one. Can't find a power spec on the EtherMega at first glance, but Google is your friend....

I'm a long way from home, so can't haul mine out and check it... IIRC it's just pads, what you see is what you get in the proto area. I've tended to use a breadboard like yours, mostly, or lash something together on some perf board. Don't worry, someone will pop up with an answer eventually, or you ...

My Leostick (back home) was still responding normally after some months of frequent tinkering when I left it. Don't think I'm up to 1000 hits, though! Probably under 100. You're right, one would expect more than 1000, but I have had probs with expensive SSDs at some unknown number much less than 100...
I'm not certain - don't have one of these yet. But there are pretty good PCB pics here:- http://www.freetronics.com/products/microphone-sound-input-module#.UD9Hy8-5FqM ...and one can almost see all the traces on the board. Should be possible to work out the schematic and the IC looks like it might b...

Ummm... a strange one indeed, Bob Not tried this myself in an Arduino environment, so I'm struggling too. Once had a weird bunch of results on a 32016 system working at nominal TTL levels via a 16450 UART - turned out that there was an unsuspected inverting buffer in the signal path. But it was less...

Greetings! You should be fine - there is always a tolerance on power supply voltages, and in the case of USB, 5 volts means "between 4.75 and 5.25 volts". There's more on Wikipedia here:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Serial_Bus#Power Worth checking the total current your EtherTen project i...

Well done! I've downloaded release_03 but don't have the Leostick with me, visiting UK for a bit longer... Be back in Vic early November, hope it's warmed up by then. Look forward to trying it out! Couldn't fathom the melody from a quick inspection of your code - was hoping to find a comment saying ...
Maybe to create a converter/controller for the Akai EWI USB? http://www.akaipro.com/ewiusb The EWI is a fairly 'dumb' controller that outputs MIDI-over-USB note info &c and gets its power via the USB lead. It lacks patch change controls. So it is usually used with a laptop running the Akai/Garritan ...
