Re: Dot Matrix Display

I am keen to see a forum topic for the matrix display also. We have sold a few of these boards to customers who want to gang them together, however the current library only supports single display. Perhaps if a new forum topic is available then we can discuss how to do this? Since this is a module,...

Re: Dot Matrix Display

You can get 40A lab supplies that will do 5V out, but that's not quite useful in a fixed setting, plus they're usually $200+. For $40-50ish, you can get 5V fixed voltage 40A power supplies from eBay (eg: from Asia Engineer ). Note: I don't specifically endorse Asia Engineer. It was just the first hi...

Logic Level Converter Module

What is the minimum voltage that the converter will work with? I'm wondering if this would work with 1.8v/1.5v or even 1.2v level logic.

I know from the schematic that that the max recommended is approx 16V.

Note: Might be good to have this info on the main product page.

I'd actually had in mind that I'd like to make both of you admins (plus AndyG and a couple of others I know personally) but I don't want to just do it without checking first, because it means you'll get confirmation emails whenever new users register. No pro...

Re: Kill all spammers

Definitely appreciate it Jon. BTW: As you've probably noticed, I've been reporting all the spam I've seen. I'm sure a few of would be quite happy to help out on things like this if you go back to automatic registrations (hopefully with a bit fewer spammers). PS: I've seen some forums that allow you ...

Re: Melbourne RepRap Users Group (MRRUG)

For those wondering, MMRUG started on the RepRap forum - http://forums.reprap.org/list.php?129 Our next meeting will hopefully be in early December. We've outgrown my garage, so we're going to need a bigger space to hold the meeting in. This may require us to charge a door fee to cover the costs of ...
