I came here to ask the same question ! I can't understand why the RJU003N03 is being used, the NTD5867NLT4G N MOSFET can easily be driven by logic level input.
Did anyone get an answer on why the smaller MOSFET is being used ?

RELAY8 with MCP23017 - toggle outputs
Hi - looking at the sample sketch for the RELAY8 bard it looks as though only one really output can be enabled at once as the MCP23017 IC requires an 8bit value to be sent. How would you go about redesigning the sketch to allow a command to send an output HIGH or LOW on the MCP23017 but leave all th...

N-drive module MOSFET choice
I have a Freetronics N-drive MOSFET module with the NTD5867NL MOSFET. I want to build a 16 channel board and I'm trying to understand what a MOSFET with such a high Rds was chosen for this Freetronics module ?

PWM frequency for model train motors
Hi - I am at the start of a project to help my Dad build an Arduino controlled (Ether Ten) model train controller. I have found this code that I am going to ready through in detail https://github.com/KensCode/TrainMotor but I am a little concerned about the PWM frequency requirements: Although PWM a...

Re: Activity LED dimly lit
Mine is an EtherTen. Even when I pull pin 13 low there is a tiny glow from the on board LED.

Re: Activity LED dimly lit
I have the same issue. Even in void setup{} if I drive the LED LOW it still remains lit. Its a bit annoying because it means I can;t use PIN 13 for anything I suspect because it always seems to be HIGH.

Re: MQTT and EtherMega / EtherTen
I purchased an EtherTen which should be at home when I get back tonight. Will give the MQTT library a go.

MQTT and EtherMega / EtherTen
Hi guys - I am wondering if anyone knows if the EtherMega or EtherTen boards are compatible with the Arduino MQTT library ? I have seen on the site http://knolleary.net/arduino-client-for-mqtt/ that the Arduino brand ethernet boards are supported. I want to go and buy one tomorrow at Jaycar but need...
