Old Felixstowe Weather Station. Arduino + Weather Display

The whole thing needs a bit of work still, but it is working. Weather Display software is commercial software, but the writer of the software has generously added Arduino weather station capability to it for us. weather-dsiplay.com will find that. My weather station is here . I’m pulling in the tran...

Can I source 6V+ from the 11 board?

I'm wondering if it's possible to source 6V+ from the 11 board, as I need it in the following circuit, using the MAX3232 breakout board from Sparkfun. It doesn't have the MAX3232 pin 2 on the breakout. That's where I can source the 6v+ from if it was. This is the circuit. You can see I need the V+ f...

Re: What causes the Red LED to glow?

Thanks, yes, that's exactly it. Strange, but now that you explain it, not unexpected. I had an idea it may have been induced capacitance changing something but as it wasn't affecting anything I haven't gotten back to it. So. No problems.
Thanks

Code not returning correct altitude, any ideas?

This code is straight out of the Adafruit BMP085 sample code and library. But obviously I'm doing something wrong, because its returning. Fixed: It now returns 0.00 as it should.. This is the code I changed. and also added #include <math.h> and deleted that declaration for pow() const uint32_t P0 = ...

Not recognizing the libraries?

I'm trying to build a sketch for the weather, but adding these to the library doesn't seem to work? the libraries directory is in the right place on my Mac, in Arduino/libraries as specified in the docs? #include <SFE_BMP180.h> #include <Wire.h> Weather.c:52:24: warning: SFE_BMP180.h: No such file o...

What causes the Red LED to glow?

Sometimes the red LED glows, but if I move the board, it goes out? What is it indicating? or let me put it another way. The Red LED on the edge of the board sometimes glimmers, or actually shines. I can bllink it on by tapping the board? Something loose? or what. What does this LED indicate. What's ...

New Sketch for Uno_Weather Shield for LaCrosse WS3600.

Working as at 14th August 2014 I put the the at the top - because there is so much old code about the place that simply doesn't work any more. This does. Thanks to Simon Ratcliffe this works extremely well. A Freetronics Uno + ASK Weather Receiver, and this code. If you also add a Adafruit BMP180 Br...

How do I send station output to a file on disk?

I'm trying to figure out how to send the output of the weather station program to a file so I can then use it in other programs. Actually ... I don't think I can. So what I will just do is either capture it from the serial output with a little C program, or read it directly into the station. This pr...

Looking for working shield code , for WS3600

I am getting "Weather Station Receiver has powered up" in the serial monitor - but that's it. I have a Lacrosse WS3600 station here, plenty of signal (it's own console can see it) but this code is way old, and another version is hacked about. I'm hoping I don't have to wade through this to update it...

Re: WH5302 Weather Station and 433Mhz RX Shield

I've got it to the
Weather Station Receiver has powered up
state, but that's it . LaCrosse WS3600 station.

Used this code, having first come across the BYTE problem.
