Re: setPixel Actual Code

Alright that's cool, I was just wondering. And as you said it is here now so people can get it if they want.
Anyway thanks for the help previously with finding the code.

Re: setPixel Actual Code

Thanks for that link, I updated my version of the library to that one and found what I needed to do. After using this code: void writeCommandFast(byte command) { PORTD &= ~(1 << 2); SPI.transfer(command); PORTD |= (1 << 2); } void sendPixelFast(int x, int y, Colour colour) { PORTD &= ~(1 << 7); writ...

setPixel Actual Code

Hi, Recently I while using my OLED display, I have been noticing more and more that it doesn't seem to update quite as fast as I'd like (obviously I understand that super speedy operation is probably not possible). And it was one specific function that I was interested in knowing what the actual cod...

Re: Arduino IDE Java Errors

Actually, on further testing, it appears this did not work! So I then searched a bit more and found that I could try -xms1024m but no that didn't work either! This is probably something to do with Java just having a complete breakdown a while ago (due to the brilliance of the wonderful Windows 8), r...

Re: Arduino IDE Java Errors

Ah yes thank you cef! That seems to have done the trick.
I still wonder why it happened to me but not many others...

Re: AM3X Module Reading

I think this library: https://code.google.com/p/mma7361-library/ It has some trick to calibrate the readings, the result is perfect 0s at level ground. However, despite it working, there's still no explanation as to how one actually would go about calibrating it. I guess you could dig through the .c...

Arduino IDE Java Errors

Hi , I know I brought this up a while ago, but I never found a solution, so here I am again. I am running the Arduino IDE on my Windows laptop, and after opening a few sketches (doesn't matter if the windows are still open, they could be closed), it starts to lag severely and a whole heap of Java er...

Re: Reading ports via PIN Commands

Thanks angusgr, I'll probably use the bool example so I can easily manipulate the value with the ! operator.

Re: Reading ports via PIN Commands

Thanks for the reply, I am familiar with both the binary system and with bitshift, but your information was nonetheless very good. So if we do if( (PIND << 3) & 00001000) We can check if pin three is high. However, what would be the equivalent of if ( digitalRead(3) != prevClock) Where prevClock is ...

Reading ports via PIN Commands

Hi, I know you can read the state of ports with PINx, where x is the port register. However i am unsure how to manipulate this to read a single port. What I wish to do is read digital 3 with the PINB (or is it PIND?) command, and then compare whether it does not equal a boolean value. How can this b...
